The Undying Fire Pastor Vic Redding – Sunday, 10-18-09 pm

Exodus 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

In these trying times, do we ever doubt that God is there with us? Do we ever feel that He has abandoned us and that He is not there to seek through prayer? Moses and his people Knelt and worshiped God during the great times of their affliction. God would have us do the same.

God’s Touch Pastor Vic Redding – Sunday, 10-18-09 am

Job 19:21 Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.

These are extremely trying times. There are many facing financial problems and jobs are scarce. But no matter what we face these days, we can endure anything, if we seek God’s touch.

PostHeaderIcon The Measure of a Strong Christian

The Measure of a Strong Christian Pastor Vic Redding – Sunday, 10-11-09pm

1 Samuel 16:6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’s anointed is before him.
7  But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

It’s not our outward appearance that makes us strong in God’s eyes, but rather our inward appearance. If we’re strong Christians, it’s not because of who we are, but rather who we serve and for whom we live.

The Measure of a Strong Church – Pastor Vic Redding – Sunday, 10-11-09am

Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

If absence makes the heart grow fonder, there must be members that really LOVE their church. How does one figure out how the church becomes strong? And how does God view the strength of a church?

Hold On – Josh Maness – Sunday, 7-5-09 pm

Hebrews 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

The great veil to the Holy of Holies was rent from top to bottom as Jesus Christ died on the cross and became the Great Intercessor. We must remain faithful and hold on not only to Him, but His Gospel, as we walk with Him.

The Disease and the Remedy – Pastor Vic Redding – Sunday, 7-5-09am

1 Timothy 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; 2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. 3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; 7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. 8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

Now, more than ever, we must be true to the Word and we must also beware and warn others of false prophets.

Sacred Landmarks – Pastor Vic Redding – Sunday,6-28-09 pm

Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

A landmark is defined as something that distinguishes one man’s property from another. Home, one landmark, should be a place where biblical principles were taught. Other landmarks are education, politics and religion, all of which are becoming indistinguishable from those places where the Godless and wicked abide what the world offers. There are, however, landmarks that no man can change.

PostHeaderIcon Are We Compromising?

Are We Compromising? – Josh Maness – Sunday, 5-31-09 pm

Exodus 8:25 And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.
8:26 And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?
8:27 We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.
8:28 And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: entreat for me.
10:7 And Pharaoh’s servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?
10:8 And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go?
10:9 And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD.
10:10 And he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you.
10:24 And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you.

We, the Church and this nation, are compromising, the same way Pharaoh compromised with God in the scriptures above. It’s been said that compromise is like shooting the little star out of the target at the fair. Once the bits of target are gone, you can never replace them. The same way with compromising when it comes to the Gospel – there are no gray areas. The Word is not ours to compromise.

PostHeaderIcon America Under Attack

America Under Attack – Pastor Vic Redding – Sunday, 5-31-09am

Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

This nation must not continue to turn its back on God. Our nation was based in Christianity, and as we compromise and as our leaders stray from seeking God and His wisdom, we become a nation who has forgotten Him.

Part Nine of Mirrors of the Christian Life – The Ripple Effect – Pastor Vic Redding – Sunday, 3-8-09 pm

1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

If you throw a stone into a pond, the ripples will continue until reaching all shores. The smallest act or incident can set off a ripple effect far beyond expectations. How do our actions affect others? Are we spreading the Gospel to cause a “viral effect”? Or are we affecting others in another way?
